Uniaxial Geogrid for Road Construction for Thailand

 

Uniaxial geogrid, also known as plastic uniaxial geogrid or uniaxial plastic geogrid, is is a kind of high molecular polymer as the main raw material, adding certain anti-ultraviolet and anti-aging additives, after unidirectional stretching, the originally distributed chain-shaped molecules are reoriented and arranged in a linear state. It is manufactured from plastic materials which may be high-density polypropylene or high-density polyethylene (HDPE) resins by the hot extruding process to make the resins into thin plates, the plates are punched into the regular holes for the formation of desired grids, and then the punching patterns are stretched longitudinally into the desired meshes to develop designed tensile strength. Geogrids can be combined with a wide variety of facing elements in retaining wall and slope applications to produce the desired structural or aesthetic conditions for any project. In grade separation applications, Uniaxial Geogrids are used to help soils stand at virtually any desired angle. The plastic uniaxial geogrid is commonly used in applications where high long term loads are required to be mobilized.

3D Geomat Erosion Control Mat for Soil Stabilization in Thailand

 

3D geomat erosion control mat is a new type three-dimensional geosynthetic material for soil conservation which is made from extruded and bi-oriented polyethylene grids. The 3D geomat  has good function on erosion control, protection of greening, and improvement of ecological environment. The 3D geomat erosion control mat is mainly used on slope protection of road, railway, river, dam to protect soil from heavy rain before the turf grow out.
