 HDPE landfill liners are the synthetic membrane barrier with extremely low permeability that can be used in conjunction with any geotechnical material to regulate fluid (or gas) migration in a man-made project, structure or system. HDPE landfill liners can be impregnated with bitumen, elastomeric or polymer sprays, or as multi-layer bituminous geocomposites. By far the most common is the continuous polymer HDPE geomembrane liner.
